3 years old today

Here she is already 3 years old today. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I figured I would download photos from the last 3 years for your enjoyment. I can't believe how much she has grown. She is my smart, talented and beautiful little girl.

First day in the hospital. I didn't want to let her go.

Random Picture

OK I took this a week or two ago. She had just finished her bah and had gotten ready for bed and this was what she looked like when she came down the stairs to say goodnight to me. I thought it was cute enough to share. Don't ask what on TV although I am pretty sure that it was the news.

End of an era

Most people that know me know that I have had a Palm Pilot in my posession for a very long time (a little over 11 years.) Well, as of last Tuesday that came to an end. I now have a Motorola Cliq that uses the Android OS. It is a very cool smart phone (I just happen to be writing this post from it.) I would have liked to stay with a Palm device (like the Pre) but it is not available on my mobile phone network. Like I said though I really like this new phone. There are still some things I need to setup before my phone is completely functional. It was really weird the first couple of days not carrying my Palm but I really like not having so much stuff in my pocket. Anyways, the next time I see any of you don't be surprised if I pull out my phone to show some of the cool (a.k.a. nerdy) stuff I can do with it.

7 months old

Wow I can't believe that he is already 7 months old. A lot has happened this last month with him and because of Halloween I almost forgot to do this update as well. So now to repent.

~He has 2 teeth on the bottom that has come in this last month.
~He crawls. Tries to keep up with his sister.
~Sits up on his own and has amazing stomach muscle strength.
~He enjoys his food and there is nothing that he will refuse to eat. So far though all we have offered him has been fruits, vegetables, and baby cereal and he loves it all.
~Is currently wearing size 12 month clothing. I'm hoping that now he is crawling maybe we won't have to go up to the next size for a while.
~Loves his bath time and gets himself all over the bathtub to play with his toys.
~Is already starting to try and pull himself up so that he can see things better. So far he is only getting to the knees.
~Loves his mommy, daddy and big sister.
~And is a very happy baby. I love his smile and laugh.

We feel so blessed to have him in our lives. I love to watch him and his sister interact. If for some reason his sister is having a hard time all he has to do is reach over and touch her and she is all better. And in return if he hears her voice he will drop whatever he is doing to turn and look at her and will give her the biggest smile. He is growing up so fast. I wish sometimes that he would slow down a little, but that is the way of parenting. I am constantly reminded by him and his sister that this time is fleeting. I just hope that I don't wake up tomorrow and have teenagers. :0) I truly want to continue enjoying this time I have. Now how do you slow down time?

The Princess and the Frog
Before we went Trick or Treating at Grandmas
Grandpa went with. At one point she had Grandpa carry her candy bucket. She apparently didn't trust mommy and daddy.
This one looks spooky
Trick or Treat
This scared our little girl a bit.

We finished the night at Chipotle to get a free burrito with her cute Aunt and Uncle.

What have we been doing lately?

We have been busy and well tired. Baby boy has been working on a tooth so sleep has been a rare commodity lately. He tries to crawl but usually just pushes himself backwards or spins in circles pivoting on his belly. I have a feeling that it will be soon enough and well then I am in trouble. Our little girl spoiled us with the fact that she didn't leave the flooring she was on. So if she was on carpet she stayed there rather than go on the tile in the kitchen. She has only fallen on the stairs once and we were there to catch her. Plus it was only 6 stairs which meant we really caught her. From that point on she started to check her footing to make sure that she felt secure before she went any further. I have a feeling though that baby boy is going to be more adventurous and more busy. Since he already is. We do story time at the Library once a week Last week they got to wear their pajamas which was fun and this week we got to have Firemen come and teach the children fire safety and see the Firetruck. Too bad I forgot my camera this week those would have been fun pictures. Below will hopefully catch you up on what has been going on over the last 2 weeks with some pictures. Sorry there are a lot I just put my favorites and surprisingly didn't put a few on that I thought were cute to.

We go to the Library once a week and have story time. Here my little girl is trying to find a place to sit.
Here she decided that she wanted to sit by me instead.
Here they played Popcorn with a sheet and crumpled paper. She had fun with this.
Here's baby boy playing with toys while his sister has fun up front.

This week we went to the local Pumpkin patch after little girls dance lesson. Her cousin came to visit us this day so they had fun together picking a pumpkin, riding in a cart and running through a hay maze made for little ones.

This is how it started.
Although I had the one above I couldn't pass this one up since my little girl looks so angelic with her hands. OK I'm a sap I admit it.
Baby boy was asleep when we arrived so here is Daddy holding the little guy.
Here they are after we picked our pumpkins.
Of coarse a picture on a pumpkin is necessary when in a pumpkin patch.
Baby boy woke up at this point so I got to take a fun picture of him next to a pumpkin. Not ready to try balancing him on a pumpkin yet.
Since baby boy wanted me Daddy took over the pulling duty.
Here is our cute nephew on the bridge, in the maze.
All of them walking through.
I love this picture. Just had to add it.
After the maze we let them paint their pumpkins.

This is my daughters when it was still wet. After she was done painting.

Here she is with it the next day all dry, with a face drawn on the part she didn't paint.

Hope you enjoyed all the pictures. Hopefully I will update sooner next time.

6 months old

Our little guy is 6 months old yesterday. I can hardly believe how much he has grown. Both in body and in personality. He is so sweet and wants to be involved in everything. We had his Well Check on Monday and he is doing great. He is 19 lbs 2 oz and 27.5 inches long. So below are the pictures that we have taken in the last couple of weeks.
Sister had to get in on the picture to. Loves her brother and loves getting her picture taken.
I had to take this picture below if only to prove to myself that he does sleep. You know those nights when he is teething and insisting on being comforted in the middle of the night. I am starting to see a bottom tooth trying to cut through.
This was a picture that we had to get. My husbands best friends little girl was being so sweet with our little guy that we joked that this is a picture for their wedding in 21 years from now. We'll see how that works out. They may have other plans but cute all the same.
Here he is sitting so big and tall. And I love those beautiful big eyes. So trusting and so aware of the world. I hope that I can live up to what he needs me to be.
