10 Months Old

Here he is 10 months old. I can't believe how big he is. He stands on his own now. He crawls super fast everywhere and into everything. He is so funny and loving. Here are some of the pictures that I have taken of him throughout this last month. The top 3 are the most recent. I took them tonight.

My little Model

It never fails. I get the camera out to take pictures of baby brother and she wants to get in on the action. She is definitely my more cooperative model. I love the pictures that I got here are my favorites of her.

Aquarium

So we went to our local Aquarium 2 weeks ago. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

We had fun sitting them on the big frog. His face cracks me up.
He had fun looking at the fish swim by.

Now this picture has a great story. I am pretty sure that it was definitely funnier in person. She got to sit on the rock right next to the stingray petting station. While she was sitting there she would put her hand in no problem hoping to pet a stingray. That is until the stingray got too close (for her comfort). This picture was taken 2 seconds before she jumped off the rock and refused to look at any fish from that moment on.

Christmas recital 2009

So this is overdue, however I made a promise to post video of her recital and now that Christmas is over I have found some renewed energy in blogging so these next few posts will catch you up on what has been happening at our home. I hope that you enjoy.

She was so cute in her costume here is a full shot. I just couldn't get her to look at me though at this point.

Here is her first number. Half way through It gets closer. She gets a few of the dance moves in there.

Here she is waiting to go on stage for her Polar Express number. She insisted I took one with her friend. And well she has just the cutest smile in this one.

Here she literally stole the show. Let's just say there were no little elves helping during her dance class when she was learning to do this dance she seemed to forget about it. But hey, she is cute.

Here is the finale. Yay she did at least half the number till she realized she didn't have her partner close by to spin in circles with.

As you saw Santa came at the end of the recital. Here are a few pictures with Santa. She was so excited to sit on Santa's lap this year.

He did surprisingly well on Santa's lap. I think he was trying to figure out how he was going to eat that candy cane before mommy and daddy took it away from him. :0)

Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas half a month late. I figured I would catch you up on these pictures as well. Below is our family picture for Christmas this year all dressed up.

We had dinner with my husbands side of the family the Sunday before Christmas. While we were there Grandma planned a little nativity with the grand kids. It was very cute. Our little girl got to be the angel. However I think all the little girls wanted to be Mary because she had the baby.

The next day on Monday we had a family party with my side of the family. The cousins all got to draw each others name. It was fun to have my daughter at an age were she is excited to look for gifts for other people. Here they are opening their gifts from one of their cousins.

Snow Fun!

Here is some fun in the snow. We made a fun snow hill in our front yard. All the neighbor kids came to play. Hope you enjoy the pictures of Daddy and kids playing in the snow.

Daddy gets our little girl to cheer him on while he sleds. You can hear her say, "Go daddy, Go Daddy, Go!"

He's a little little to enjoy the snow. So he usually stays inside with mommy. However we do have a picture with him in his winter coat.

FHE GIngerbread house

Here is our activity one Family home Evening. Mommy and our little girl made a gingerbread house. It was great our little girl kept eating every other candy between decorating the house. Although she did have fun putting every spare bit of candy on the house to. lol.

8 and 9 months old and a 3 year old checkup

Sorry that I didn't update his 8 month picture. Since he has already turned 9 months old and we have had a doctors appointment I will post 2 pictures and tell you his numbers.

8 months old

I took him and his sister for their well checks and both are checked out fine. He weighed in at 22 lbs 13 ounces which is in the 80th %ile. That is totally foreign to me since my daughter was not even 20 lbs on her 1st birthday. He is also 30 inches long which is in the 91st %ile.

9 months old

So for my daughter since I have posted her 3 year old post already I will just give you stats. She weighs 31 lbs and is 38 1/4 inches tall BMI totaling 14.9.
