What have we been doing lately?

We have been busy and well tired. Baby boy has been working on a tooth so sleep has been a rare commodity lately. He tries to crawl but usually just pushes himself backwards or spins in circles pivoting on his belly. I have a feeling that it will be soon enough and well then I am in trouble. Our little girl spoiled us with the fact that she didn't leave the flooring she was on. So if she was on carpet she stayed there rather than go on the tile in the kitchen. She has only fallen on the stairs once and we were there to catch her. Plus it was only 6 stairs which meant we really caught her. From that point on she started to check her footing to make sure that she felt secure before she went any further. I have a feeling though that baby boy is going to be more adventurous and more busy. Since he already is. We do story time at the Library once a week Last week they got to wear their pajamas which was fun and this week we got to have Firemen come and teach the children fire safety and see the Firetruck. Too bad I forgot my camera this week those would have been fun pictures. Below will hopefully catch you up on what has been going on over the last 2 weeks with some pictures. Sorry there are a lot I just put my favorites and surprisingly didn't put a few on that I thought were cute to.

We go to the Library once a week and have story time. Here my little girl is trying to find a place to sit.
Here she decided that she wanted to sit by me instead.
Here they played Popcorn with a sheet and crumpled paper. She had fun with this.
Here's baby boy playing with toys while his sister has fun up front.

This week we went to the local Pumpkin patch after little girls dance lesson. Her cousin came to visit us this day so they had fun together picking a pumpkin, riding in a cart and running through a hay maze made for little ones.

This is how it started.
Although I had the one above I couldn't pass this one up since my little girl looks so angelic with her hands. OK I'm a sap I admit it.
Baby boy was asleep when we arrived so here is Daddy holding the little guy.
Here they are after we picked our pumpkins.
Of coarse a picture on a pumpkin is necessary when in a pumpkin patch.
Baby boy woke up at this point so I got to take a fun picture of him next to a pumpkin. Not ready to try balancing him on a pumpkin yet.
Since baby boy wanted me Daddy took over the pulling duty.
Here is our cute nephew on the bridge, in the maze.
All of them walking through.
I love this picture. Just had to add it.
After the maze we let them paint their pumpkins.

This is my daughters when it was still wet. After she was done painting.

Here she is with it the next day all dry, with a face drawn on the part she didn't paint.

Hope you enjoyed all the pictures. Hopefully I will update sooner next time.

6 months old

Our little guy is 6 months old yesterday. I can hardly believe how much he has grown. Both in body and in personality. He is so sweet and wants to be involved in everything. We had his Well Check on Monday and he is doing great. He is 19 lbs 2 oz and 27.5 inches long. So below are the pictures that we have taken in the last couple of weeks.
Sister had to get in on the picture to. Loves her brother and loves getting her picture taken.
I had to take this picture below if only to prove to myself that he does sleep. You know those nights when he is teething and insisting on being comforted in the middle of the night. I am starting to see a bottom tooth trying to cut through.
This was a picture that we had to get. My husbands best friends little girl was being so sweet with our little guy that we joked that this is a picture for their wedding in 21 years from now. We'll see how that works out. They may have other plans but cute all the same.
Here he is sitting so big and tall. And I love those beautiful big eyes. So trusting and so aware of the world. I hope that I can live up to what he needs me to be.
