Fun Pictures

Here are just some fun pictures that my husband took of our daughter recently.
Here below is the perfect Marilyn Monroe, Seven Year Itch moment.
Here below is My husbands favorite because he used to do the same thing as a kid. She is laying on the same vent as in in the picture above with her blanket enjoying the warm air coming through the vent.

More pictures

Here we are ready to go home and put him in the car. Yay home at last.
Here he is bundled and ready in his car seat. Mommy loves the hat.
Could not get her to look at the camera for anything. She is in love with her baby brother.
We love the smile on her face. And it is cute how he has his hand on her face. Here is a full body shot. He is so tiny. Can't believe that our little girl was ever this small.
Look at that face. It is too sweet.
Here is some video of our little girl bonding with her brother for the first time.

This was her first chance to see him up close. While he was in the nursery being washed and tested she wanted to keep going to the window and see him. She was pretty offended when Daddy left her baby brother in the nursery to come check on Mommy. Here he is is with his Uncle and Aunt.

1/2 week to go or hopefully less.

So today we had a doctors appointment and well nothing has changed. So you know that hormonal pregnant woman's tear I had it. But only one since after all I did have the option to have this baby boy this last Monday and chose to wait for my due date to come first. Well we have officially decided that March 30th should be the day he is coming if he should not come before. My other options for next week were April Fools and that was not an option. It would be cruel to purposefully give him that day for a birthday and April 3rd my doctor is going to be on vacation. Since there is no way that I am going to have this baby without my doctor around I like the idea of March 30th. So here is to hoping he wants to come sooner and to knowing that he will be here no later than Monday. Yes it is true I think too much, yet it is how I think. I hope that everyone has a great week and watch for baby pictures to be posted soon. Here below is video of our daughter helping me tell this baby to come out and join our family. It may seem strange but we think it is cute.

1 1/2 weeks to go

I had an appointment this morning and everything is good and healthy. My doctor let me know that if I would like to he would be able to induce on Monday. Then told me that it is a personal decision and to not feel pressure to do it. I love my doctor. Although I have to say that it is extremely tempting. When I think ok I could be done in 5 days guaranteed and be able to sleep on my back again. Plus be able to eat and not worry about a foot or a butt hitting my stomach only to lose everything I just ate. I know the familiar woes of pregnancy. However I so want to believe that this will happen on it's own, that I am willing to at least wait for my due date to come and go before I induce. Although I used to say April 3rd at the latest March 30th seems much more enticing than it used to. Plus I could make sure to avoid an April Fools Baby. However things are progressing towards having this baby and well I can only hope that it means that this little man will come before I even have to say induction is what I want to do. Well until I have way more exciting news (or at least until next week just to say he's not here yet and shed a hormonal pregnant woman's tear) I will bid you a hopeful adieu.

Baby Shower

I had a great friend who knew better than me what I needed. She threw a baby shower for me and I am not sure that I had made it easy for her. The shower was wonderful. She planned it and everything turned out great. She had cream puffs and cookies and punch. Made the beautiful invitations and then made this beautiful pillow on top of planning the shower. And somehow found a grasshopper blanket that works perfectly with the things I am doing for this little boy. I had the chance to visit with people who love me and just talk about baby and whatever. Sometimes that is the greatest gift just visiting with great people. Plus the outpouring of love from people who weren't able to make it. I want to thank this friend for insisting on throwing a shower. I know it would not have happend without her and then I would have missed out on a great experience today. Plus thank you to everyone for the diapers, cute outfits and toys. This little man will be so handsome thanks to everyone who got something for him.
