Zoo

Me and my kids
Our first whole family picture.
I think we need to get one without the baby crying.
Daddy and his boy.
She had so much fun with this ball she didn't want to stop.
She wasn't too sure about the Merry Go Round.
Our little girl sitting on the Elephant Trunk with her new cousin.
This peacock decided to display his feathers when he got a little spooked.
I think he didn't like all the people surrounding him. Made for a great picture though.
Looking at some geese. Plus look at that hairdo.
I was pretty proud of how it turned out.

All about Baby Boy

A Happy Baby boy.
I love it when they get to this stage.
A couple great shots of his first smiles.
Below are some pictures of him in the cute robe he got from his Great Grandma.
Isn't that just too cute for words.

Full day of play

For some reason if baby boy is not in the swing she thinks that it is hers.
Spreading dandelion seeds. Didn't we all love to do this as kids?
Finger painting with bubble solution. She was blowing bubbles and then decided that it was more fun to make hand prints.
This is her car that a very cool Uncle and Auntie got for her. She loves it.

Spending Time with Family

Here she is with her Grandpa. He came home between some meetings while we were visiting and she had to cuddle with him the whole time. Content as can be with her Grandpa.
Here she is with her Grandma.
She thinks Grandma is fun.
Here is our little guy with his Great Grandma.
Since I have never known my Great Grandparents or Grandfathers I think it is great to have pictures like this for them to see as they get older.
This is our little girl loving spending time with her older cousin.
She totally had to stand under the umbrella. Unfortunately the best picture was two seconds before this was taken. When I was walking to the car and getting the camera out they were facing each other and both were holding the umbrella. But I think it is still cute all the same.
Fun video of her playing with Grandma.

The last week

Here she tried to put on her own coat.
I love how everything is backwards while they are learning.
I hope that she will always be this willing to do the dishes. Sigh.
I wonder if she can see that bowl through those bangs.
We went to an emergency preparedness fair last Saturday.
This was the coolest thing there. They gave her a sticker.
She was a little timid getting this far.
But it was all worth it going down this slide.
She was so proud of herself.
Aren't they cute when they sleep?
Just in case that last picture wasn't close enough.
And here he is one month old.
Can you believe a month has gone by?
It's a great shot of that birthmark on his forehead.
I can hardly imagine life before he was here.
He has such a sweet face.
Big sister loves. His expression is classic.
My kids.
I think I want to print this picture out and frame it.
Things are getting better and I think he is starting to realize that he can sleep through the night. Knock on wood. I just love my kids and I am so grateful that I have them in my life. They help me learn how to love in a way that I only imagined before. I hope that I can be the mom that they need me to be. I am sure that they will teach me so many things and hopefully they will learn a little from me and their father. I hope that I can teach them to be confidant and know that they are loved by their parents and by a Father in Heaven who knows them.

Crazy Kids

OK so maybe not crazy kids but some pictures that I thought were not only cute but a little funny.

Here is our son. From what I am told this is the
position hecame out in. I guess he finds it a
comforting/comfortable position to be in.
This is our daughter watching TV in an odd position.
Of coarse this is what she did once she realized mommy was taking a picture.
This is the full view of how that position started.
So the question is what is wrong in this picture? And no it is not that her hair is in her face all though that is something that used to be pulled back by a barrette.
Can you see it in this picture?
OK they are also cute pictures.
Well if you didn't see it before here is the answer. She was so ready to go out back that she put on whatever shoes she could find. Whether or not they matched or were for the right foot. She believes that since she can open the back door and unlock it on her own who needs mommy to check things out before she goes. I truly hope that this is not an indication of her dancing ability with no left shoes on.

Happy Easter Everyone!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter and that everything went well. Our Easter was quiet and nice. We had our traditional Easter Dinner which consists of Turkey BBQ, Cream Cheese Pasta Salad, and a Strawberry Spinach Salad with Poppy seed Dressing. Finished off with a Strawberry Jello Poke Cake for dessert. We were all a little tired but things went very well. However note to the Easter bunny make sure that in future years get plenty of sleep before putting Easter baskets together. For your enjoyment here are a few pictures of our Easter.

Baby Boy in his Easter outfit

Our little girl who doesn't seem so little any more.
Hmmmmm..... thinking where to find Easter eggs.
I got it.
Our cute kids! Being mom I'm not biased or anything.
Another picture of our cute kids.
Here she is actually saying cheese with that cheesy smile.
My handsome men all tired from a long Easter day.

His first Easter so of coarse we need some with the bunny.
His sister's bunny from last year was the perfect prop..
Such a sweet little man.
Is that not the best expression on his face?
And of coarse one more since I'm mom and think any
picture of my kids is a beautiful picture worth sharing.
