So we started his birthday by the little guy and me hanging out outside his big sister's dance class. He didn't seem to be too bothered by it because he discovered for the first time the drinking fountain. Isn't he cute in these pictures. Sadly had to remove him from the water since he was getting a little too wet after a minute.

Here is his Birthday Cake. The bottom layer was a white cake with Raspberry filling. The round dirt part was Chocolate cake with Chocolate frosting, and the little ant hill was applesauce cake with a low sugar cream cheese frosting. My inspiration was the Grasshopper and the Ants.

While I decorated the cake one of my friends who was a life saver played with my son and then just held him as he watched me put it together. He was quite content in her lap and just fell asleep. It was wonderful not having to worry about how I would decorate the cake and stress about a crying baby. He managed to be quite happy which was beautiful.

Just a closer view of my cute sleeping baby boy.

So next Daddy got home and off we went to Chuck E Cheeses for his birthday which turned out great. No clean up and lots of entertainment for our nieces and nephews and well everyone. Here are pictures of the party below.
