Little Pioneer Girl

For our last primary activity the theme was about what it was like to be a pioneer kid in Nauvoo. It was optional to dress up as a pioneer but since my team teacher in primary and I were doing a little class I totally got into the spirit of it and had to make a little pioneer outfit for my daughter. Without a pattern I have to say it turned out a lot better than I expected. Of coarse I say that fully aware of all the little flaws. Well My daughter loves it and it is now apart of her dress up stuff. She tried to wear it to church a couple weeks ago but we had to tell her no. So here are some pictures of her in her little pioneer outfit. And yes that is how tall our grass was at the time. It had since been mowed but hey it worked for the pictures.

Life at home

Less you be confused this is not a all day thing. But the few minutes in a day he sleeps makes our hearts melt that we can't help but take a picture. And when he looks this cute can you blame us.
My husband had to take this picture because it was actually much better 2 seconds before it was taken. It was so fun to see him laying there with both his hands behind his head.
Wow some random box in our living room. What box is it you ask? Well we had to replace our water heater and the guys that came and did that for us(Thank You Home Warranty), left this box for our daughter to play in and it made a fun toy for a couple days usually laying flat on the floor and not up like this.
And when you look inside that box sitting there like that this is what you find. My daughter and the 2 neighbor girls hanging out. I think that Daddy helped them do this and they had fun. He took the picture and then they played until they were bored being like that which was 5 minutes and then the asked to get out and I can't remember if they made it fall or daddy helped them out. But they had fun and we got a great picture to share and that is all that matters. :0)

Dinosaur Park

One day my neighbor and I decided that we would head to to Dinosaur Park/Museum. So hear is our fun filled adventure.

One of the Dinosaur Fossils. I wonder is this Buddy from the Dinosaur Train on PBS.
The little guy swinging and having a good time. He was so happy to not be in the stroller.
Look out bud there are dinosaur coming.
Well I think this picture just explains it all.
My daughter and her best friend next door sticking their faces through the holes to become apart of this cartoon.
You got to be on the look out here there are dinosaurs everywhere.
We even found Dino from the Flintstones.
Isn't he cute he looks like he is trying to roar.
Don't look behind you kids but ther is a dinosaur that looks like it is going to eat you. OH NO!
And this must be Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon, Buddies adoptive parents on the Dinosaur Train. Ok you got me I see too much kid TV these days. But hey I have learned things I never knew about dinosaurs from this show. So not a complete waste.

April Snow Showers Bring May Flowers! Right????

Easter Family Pictures

She definitely knows how to work the camera. Below she was having fun singing while I tried to get a picture.

Easter Eggs, baskets, and candy

First Easter egg hunt. He had fun finding his little sport ball shaped eggs.
Her eggs were hidden only a little harder.
Checking out their loot!
Enjoying their candy!
Wearing her bunny mask while enjoying her cake.

1 year check up

On the way to the doctor. Still smiling!
Sister wants in on the picture action. So we got one of her too.
Weighing in 23 lbs 6 ounces. 31.75 inches long. With a head measuring at 18.1 inches round.
Totally busy looking around not paying attention to the doctor. No worries we got him to sit still so she could check him out.
And well his big sister can't go to the doctors office with out washing her hands.
