So this like all the others were meant to be posted much sooner. My kids Grandma has a birthday on April Fools Day and this was a fun way to celebrate and send a virtual birthday card. But I am so slow this year.

He was so excited to think he was getting cupcakes for dinner. I think he was surprised to find these cupcakes more on the savory side as opposed to the sweet side. I love his face in the next two pictures.

My daughter was so excited to trick daddy her face full of anticipation to trick daddy cracks me up. Daddy was such a great sport to play along since he knew what these were.

My Train! Happy Birthday Boy!

Last month we celebrated this handsome little boy's birthday. He went with me to the store since I had no luck finding a train for the top of his cake before his birthday. I had to go to several stores to find this toy. As it turned out it was small enough and within the budget for a decoration atop a cake. Plus he had a new favorite toy to play with. He held this toy package and all till he fell asleep to take his nap. If anyone looked at it funny he held it to his chest tight and said my train. He hoped that I would take it out of the packaging so he could play with it but mommy wanted it to stay clean inside it's package. Once he fell asleep holding onto it, I had to sneak it away from his grasp, open it, wash it, and hide it till I was done with his cake. Then before he woke up I hid his cake toy topper and all in the deep freezer till a hour before we had cake. Then once he saw the cake he kept trying to (we thought) get into the cake. So we eventually sang to him and went to take the toy off to wash it and he jumped down from his chair super happy saying,"YAY! YAY! YAY"! and waited for daddy to hand him his toy. Then you would think this was where he would come back to the table to get cake. No! He then took his train and track and played with that while everyone else ate his cake. Then only after he was sufficiently satisfied playing with his new train, was when he sat at the table to eat his cake. He can be very stubborn but he is a very cute boy. He is busy and into everything. He tries to do everything on his own and is a normal 2 year old boy.

Here is my husband on his birthday. He is the sweetest, kindest and my loving husband a girl could ask for. I am so lucky to have this man by my side. I love him so much. We had his parents over and had a nice dinner with them.

Here is his cake. My daughter wanted to help so I let her put the m&m's around the bottom and let her put the balloons on to decorate.

SNNNNOOOOOWWWWW!!!

You know we got even more snow than this one Feb. evening. However by 10 am the next day it was all gone. This is how our winter has been this year which meant we never did get to build sled hills for the kids. :(

The day that Hoppy came home

So my daughters preschool have a class stuffed animal that they get to take turns bringing home. It just happened to be my daughter's turn on a dance day. She was so excited to take Hoppy with her to dance. Here are some pictures of the day.

Circus 2011

So true to all my posts this happened about a month ago. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get the the orange of my knock knock joke. I feel like I keep getting you to say "banana who?". So our family and our neighbors family went to the circus early this year like we did last year. Same circus, some different tricks and lots of fun. So I made a video of it so I didn't have to post all the pictures and videos we took. It is slightly under 4 minutes long. I hope that you enjoy.
