September

September was the start of Preschool for our son.  This year preschool has been a much more enjoyable experience.  My son loves his teacher and has several friends which makes him get excited to go.  He has liked riding his bike when it is warm enough to walk.  I have had a much better experience this year as well since his teacher is my visiting teacher and friend.  This allows me the chance to ask her any questions that I have and know how he is doing.  Luckily she is patient with me and my many questions.
We also went to my husbands Annual Meeting in Colorado this year.  This is the first time we have flown with kids.  Our kids were excited especially our son.  He was so excited he had a hard time waiting because of a couple hour delay.  Due to his sensory he just could not grasp why he couldn't get on the plane when he knew it was sitting there waiting for us to board.  The weather in Colorado was so bad they couldn't let us fly yet.  Here are some pictures waiting and trying to keep our kids entertained till we can board the plane.
Finally we we able to board after a couple hours.  Then once we got on we waited another half hour before we could leave the gate.  We were told that since it was our kids first time flying that we should tell the flight attendants and that they like to make it special.  So we did and sure enough they went above and beyond to make our kids comfortable.  During our wait on the plane the pilot invited us up into the cock pit and let the kids sit in the captains chair.  Once back in the seats they gave our kids a little packet that had crayons, a coloring book and some wings to wear.  Then on take off and landing they gave a special shout out to our kids over the speaker.  Our kids did great!  Everyone around us complimented us on how well our kids did while flying.  In all honesty it is a whole new ball park flying with kids.  I have always been a little nervous on take off and usually like to sit back close my eyes and take deep breaths.  When I did that my kids kept asking me questions.  But flying was nice in that once in the air we were where we needed to be much quicker.  Plus it was an experience that our older kids talk about still and will remember for a long time.
While on this trip we learned that my phone gets emergency alerts.  We spent most our time inside the hotel because many places in Colorado were flooded due to high amounts of rain.  Except for the couple hours one day that the sun came out and it was beautiful and we went swimming.  The hotel was great because at their restaurant our kids ate free and thanks to my husbands work they picked up my tab as well.  We were so grateful for this opportunity.  It wasn't our most exciting trip but it is so nice to go with Daddy and see him when he is done with work.  We have felt spoiled to have the chance to do this.
They had a dog at the hotel that is just part of the hotel.  The kids loved to see the dog and pet it.

Heading to the airport on our last day.  This is the kids all asleep in the back of the small rental car we had.  Luckily the car seats fit perfectly.

My son who has always liked trains enjoyed riding the airport train to get to our flight terminal. Plus son crazy kid pictures at the airport waiting to get on the plane and riding the bus to our car once we got home.

Also in September we went to the dentist.  Just to let you know we did not get picture from our most recent visit.  But the kids love going to the dentist and we would like to keep it that way.
