My daughter made an imaginary friend this day and named it some long name I cannot remember. I thought it was rather creative. A head and all.

Sunny Days
So I am blogging this on a day that is anything but sunny. Clouds cover the sky and snow covers the ground. This last January we had unseasonably warm temps and little snow. I was a bit surprised since usually we have sled hills that we build in our front yard and not kids playing on bikes and such. However; except for the days where the air was terrible from an inversion, we enjoyed the nice days. And here is some of the evidence.
My Birthday recap
I had a wonderful friend who made me a Cold Stone cake for my birthday. I am grateful to wonderful friends and family that remembered me and let me know that I was special. I am mostly thankful for a wonderful husband who is there to hold me up when I am beating myself down, who loves me for who I am and all that I am willing to become. I am grateful to a man who has so much patience. A wonderful father and an amazing husband. I am grateful to my children for coming to this Earth and letting me be their mom. I am truly blessed and am grateful to a Father in Heaven who blesses me daily. Here's to another year.
Rockstars!
When the cousins come to play my husband and children get so excited because they love to play Rock Band. My husband has people that are guaranteed to play with him and well my children actually get to play a little too.
Happy New Year
Yep another post a month and a half late. So we had a very fun New Years here. We invited some neighbors to our house and watched the ball drop, decorated gingerbread houses, and ate good food. After the ball dropped the men were very good sports to light some fireworks for us to watch from the inside. It was cold that night. So here are some pictures from the night.

!Our Little Girls 4th Birthday!
Ok so only about a month behind in posting this. But we celebrated my daughters birthday at home and invited the neighbors over for some Pumpkin Chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit and orange juice for dinner. As well as some chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. I took her to her Well Check appointment that morning and she is growing just like she should and then got her Kindergarten shots. Ok I know what you are saying how could you give her shots on her birthday. Well this is how the Doctor informed me that they had the combination shots now so that if we wanted to we could get it all done and it would be less shots in the long run since they don't always have the combination ones. But I did give her a choice and told her she didn't have to and let her decide. This is the first time that she complained about the shot but was very quickly over it as soon as she saw the cool band aids they put on her. In fact her words were, "Oh Cool". Then I had to prevent her from showing off the band aids the rest of the day. Then we had frozen yogurt for lunch. I know it is the lunch of champions but hey when it's your birthday sometimes you need to think outside the box. Then we went to a bounce house close by and let her and her brother play for a little bit. All in all it was a good day and she seemed to have fun. Here are a few pictures of her, her friends, and her cake.
She wanted a Chocolate cake with brown frosting and a rainbow on it. I would have to say the cutest easy cake I have made and yet time consuming because you have to switch colors. But I think it turned out ok.
She had a hard time waiting to blow out the candles and even blew them out before we were done singing to her.

Ellie The Snowperson
So the other day it actually snowed where we live enough to cover the ground. So after I ate my lunch I went outside to help her and her friend make a snowman. My daughter was very cute. She wanted to name the showman Ellie and she hoped that she would come alive like Frosty the snowman. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids next to Ellie.
