A Broken Arm

Ok so I know you have probably noticed the cast on out little girls arm. So more than likely you have wondered what happened. Well as it turns out one night my son thought it would be fun to pretend that my daughter's legs were a tunnel. But he also thought he should be able to keep the train moving and got frustrated when his sister was in the way. How rude right? So he pushed really hard and caused her to fall and hyper-extend her elbow so bad that it caused a crack above her elbow. So we went to the doctor and they put a splint on and sent us to a children's orthopedic clinic and they put the cast on her arm. She kept trying to pick colors that everyone else picked. Finally she decided on red. I think this was her favorite accessory. She really didn't complain much. She wore it for 3 weeks. And was very happy to have it come off. The hardest part for her was that she couldn't go on a trampoline for a whole month.

Here she is showing off her cast before we got it cut off.
Waiting to get an x-ray to see if it can come off.
Waiting for sister to come back from her x-ray.
So she looks nervous right like it is a little scary.
But wait she is laughing. Turns out that the saw was tickling her arm.
Here she is happily showing off her arm cast free.
A fun thing at the Children's hospital is this little garden area. It made for some fun pictures.
