In October we went to the Fire Station Open House. They had popcorn, scones, balloons, and firetruck rides with a donation of canned food. So we took our children and they had fun. The line for the Firetruck rides was very long so most our time was spent waiting in line but they didn't mind. They did get to see the Life-light Helicopter take off. It is amazing how much debris goes flying when a helicopter is taking off. While my husband stood in line with the kids I got in line to get some popcorn for the kids to eat. That is one of their favorite snacks so that helped them wait patiently. Here are a couple pictures.
My husband and I.
The boys! Actually my son was being a turkey and was trying to not get his picture taken.
Me and my girl. Here we are riding the firetruck.
The kids happy after a fun night.
